Brokers are hoping to land a grocery store along a stretch of Broadway that has not had such an amenity in many years.
The southwest corner of Broadway and Rosemont is being pitched as an ideal site for a grocery store and complementary retail.
The seven-acre site could accommodate an anchor store of about 60,000 square feet with pads between 4,000 and 6,000 square feet in size, a sales brochure from CBRE shows.
The location is in a nine-mile stretch of Broadway with no full-service grocery store.
Pima Association of Government data shows about 48,000 vehicles per day travel by the site on Broadway and 3,000 per day on Rosemont.
It is situated on the βgoing homeβ side of Broadway with a population of about 272,000 residents within five miles.
Nancy McClure and John Ash, of CBRE, are listed as brokers for the property.
