- Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Casino Del Sol: Raised $60,000 with their second annual Charity Golf Tournament on Nov. 9, to benefit two nonprofit organizations. The Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center and My Girl Power will each receive $30,000.
- Westmed, Inc.: Employees of the company, a local manufacturer of medical devices, raised $5,500 for disaster relief for victims of Hurricane Matthew and Westmed is matching their contribution for a total of $11,000 for the American Red Cross and Catholic Relief Services. Westmed also donated products to hospitals, clinics and emergency facilities treating the victims.
