  • The bank announced $70,000 in grants to be distributed to nonprofits working to increase educational and workforce development opportunities in the Tucson area. Receiving grants are JobPath Inc., Beacon Group SW, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson, Caregiver Training Institute, Literacy Connects, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, YMCA of Southern Arizona and Youth On Their Own.

  • Pima County charitable organizations will have an opportunity to be awarded funds generated from the sale of certain merchandise such as T-shirts, hats, mugs and water bottles by the Oro Valley automotive center, 12945 N. Oracle Road. Profits will go to a winning charity at the end of 2016. Charitable 501c(3) organizations can apply for funding through July 1 at
