Tucson Real Estate: Shopping center under development in Sierra Vista

Tucson developers are working on a new shopping center at a former lumberyard in Sierra Vista.
Larsen Baker LLC led the investment group, South Plaza Vista LLC, and plans to remodel the building for retail users.
There is more than 65,000 square feet of space proposed for the center.
The Cochise County Recorder’s Office recorded a sale price of $2.3 million for the former Sutherland’s Lumberyard at 493 N. Highway 90 Bypass.
It is Larsen Baker’s third property in Sierra Vista. The company also owns Cochise Plaza on Fry Boulevards and the VA Medical Outpatient Clinic on Coronado Boulevard.
Peter Villaescusa and Jesse Peron, of CBRE, along with Andy Seleznov and Melissa Lal, of Larsen Baker, represented the buyer. The seller was represented by Velocity Real Estate Group.

Carollo Engineers Inc. leased 3,215 square feet at 1 S. Church Ave. The tenant was represented by Dustin McFarland of Savills Studley. The landlord, 1SC Partners LLC, was represented by Jeff Casper of CBRE.

The Hopman Group leased 2,517 square feet at La Paloma Corporate Center, 3561 E. Sunrise Drive. The tenant was represented by Bruce Suppes, of CBRE and the landlord was represented by David Montijo and Jeff Casper, also with CBRE.

Colonia Verde Shopping Center, on the northeast corner of Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyons roads, signed two new leases. Yong Ge and Wei Fang leased 1,050 square feet to open A Peace of Touch and The Vape Zone Smokeless LLC leased 850 square feet. Dave Hammack, of Volk Co., represented the landlord.
