Here's your chance to drink Tucson's best cocktails all in one place

Did you know Arizona had a cocktail week? Maybe you did, but you forgot (sorry, you're cut off).

The event starts Feb. 17, with a whole bunch of spirited bartending contests and parties throughout the state. You're gonna want to make the one in Tucson, which features cocktail samples from 11 of our best bars.

This is Tucson Cocktail Showcase is at Playground, 278 E. Congress St., from 7-10 p.m., Feb. 22. You can purchase tickets for $20 apiece here.

A portion of the proceeds go to the nonprofit Jupiter Foundation, a talent incubator that works with the community of local bartenders by providing scholarships and grants. The event is being put on by the Tucson chapter of the United States Bartenders' Guild, and is presented by none other than This is Tucson (us). 

The event is sponsored by St. George Spirits, Four Roses Bourbon, Deep Eddy Vodka, Woodford Reserve among others. So expect to see those liquors mixed into awesome drinks at the party. Salud!
