Saguaro and Palo Verde Blossom FestivalΒ 

Saguaro National Park East will celebrateΒ Arizona's state tree and state flower with two days of activities this weekend.Β Highlights include stargazing from 8-9:30 p.m. Friday, which will start at the visitor center. That will be followed from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. by a ranger led outing, also starting at the visitor center, to observe saguaro buds as they open and bloom. The festivities will begin at 7 a.m. on both days with a 90-minute Saguaro Blossom Wake-Up Walk from theΒ Broadway Trailhead. Crafts, lectures, an owl walk and driving tours are also part of the fun.
