The singer performed the National Anthem at a Washington Nationals baseball game Sept. 20.

Legendary singer-songwriter Judy Collins has waited three decades to make her triumphant return to the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.

She returns April 22 for a one-night-only benefit concert that will more than likely hit her career highlights: “Send in the Clowns,” “Both Sides Now,” “Someday Soon,””Chelsea Morning” and “Amazing Grace” among them.

Tickets ($45 to $95) go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, through ticketmaster.com or by calling the TSO Box Office, 882-8585.

Die-hard fans can splurge for a seat on stage — $1,200 — and a limited number of front-row seats — six, each for $250 — will include a post-concert backstage meet-and-greet with Collins.

Collins was last in Tucson in late November 2014 for a holiday-themed concert at Fox Tucson Theatre.
