Fired Pie turns two on Wednesday and we're really thrilled with how the Phoenix-based fast-casual pizzeria is marking the anniversary.
All day Wednesday at its 10 Arizona locations including 350 E. Congress St. downtown, Fired Pie is offering a buy-one-get-one free deal. Which means you can buy a pizza, get a free salad. Or buy a pizza and get a second pizza free. You get the gist.
The deal is good from open to close Wednesday — 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Although Fired Pie is celebrating its second year, it's only been in Tucson less than a year. It opened last November as a handful of fast-casual pizzerias including locally owned Pionic Pizza on North Campbell Avenue and Pizza Studio, with two locations — including1031 N. Park Ave., in the Next Level student housing complex across from the University of Arizona and on East Grant Road and North Kolb Road. The restaurants are owned and operated by former UA football player Trace Biskin.
