If youâd like to experience Tucson in a different way, Presidio San AgustÃn del Tucson Museum has new walking tour options to help get the job done.
The Modern Streetcar & Walking Tour allows attendees to ride the streetcar, getting on and off at various points to explore the history and culture of the area with the help of a guide.
The February tour is sold out. The March 5 event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and costs $40 per person.
If youâre looking for a more creative angle, thereâs Murals & More + Margaritas tour. Explore the blend of art, culture and history through the murals in the Fourth Avenue district. The tour, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 25, will wrap up with a margarita at Corbettâs. Food will be available for an additional fee.
The cost is $46 per person, which includes the drink. For $30 per person, you can do the tour without the margarita tasting on the same day from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
The museumâs Mainly Murals walking tour in downtown will continue to be held on the first Saturday of the month, but a second tour will feature a tasting of regional wines in the Monsoon Room at JoJoâs restaurant.
Participants on both the morning and afternoon tours on Saturday, Feb. 3, will view and learn the history of murals found north of Congress Street. The morning session runs from 9 to 11 a.m. and costs $30 per person. The afternoon wine-tasting tour is from 1 to 4 p.m. and costs $60 per person.
Other museum tours that end with wine tastings include:
Public Art & Murals with wine tasting at the Leo Kent Hotel: Feb. 24 from 1 to 4 p.m., $65
Turquoise Trail Shorter Version with wine tasting at Maynardâs Market: Feb. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m., $60
