Want your pet blessed? St. Philip’s offers that

St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave., will host an animal-blessing service at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.

Taizé service at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal

The second Sunday of each month, Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 E. Adams St., welcomes a small group to meditate and pray in the Taizé tradition.

The service, which will include spoken and sung prayers, a reading and meditation, will begin 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.

‘Theology Uncorked’ explores migrant issues

In its “Theology Uncorked” series, Most Holy Trinity Parish, 1300 N. Greasewood Road, will discuss issues of immigration and deportation and the Protection Network Action Fund, an organization that supports immigrant rights, according to press materials.

The session lasts 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 in Guadalupe Hall.

World Unity Shabbat service Friday night

The Friday service at Temple Emanu-El, 225 N. Country Club Road, will explore progressive Judaism in Europe.

The World Unity Shabbat service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 will host Rabbi Joel Oseran, the vice president of international development for the World Union for Progressive Judaism.
