Interfaith leaders will hold a service in support of refugees and migrants at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, 4725 E. Pima St., 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The service corresponds with the global "Share the Journey" campaign Pope Francis is launching the same day to advocate for compassion for these populations.
In addition to cooperating with other faith leaders, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson's Bishop Gerald Kicanas has asked the diocese's 78 parishes to also participate, according to press materials.
The community — including refugees and migrants — are invited to this interfaith service.
