Readers are invited to nominate Tucson residents 25 or younger who are already making the world a better place.

Maybe you know a kid who befriended an elderly neighbor, a teen who came to the aid of someone being bullied, a college grad who is already making the world a better place.

We want to know them, too. The Star is planning a series of holiday profiles on young Tucsonans who make us optimistic about our cityโ€™s future, and weโ€™re looking for nominations.

If you know someone 25 or younger who lives in Tucson and is making a difference in our community, in ways big or small, please let us know. We are looking for a variety of young people to feature in an upcoming series that will ring in 2016.

Email jwillett@tucson.com with your suggestions. Please include your full name, the nominee’s full name, contact information for both of you and the reason this person makes you hopeful for a brighter tomorrow.
