Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for victims and suspects in a shooting on the far west side Thursday morning, authorities said.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired shortly after 7 a.m. in the 8900 block of W. Bopp Road, said department spokesman, Deputy Ryan Inglett.

Once they arrived at the scene, deputies located a vehicle near a residence with evidence of a shooting, including blood, Inglett said.

Detectives also found an automatic-style rifle of an unknown make and model next to the vehicle.

A few minutes later, deputies found a second car located down the street, also with evidence of a shooting and blood, indicating that someone was injured.

No victims or suspects have been located or identified, and detectives are searching the area by air, with canines and door-to-door canvassing, Inglett said.

Detectives are interviewing the resident of the house where the first vehicle was found, and warrants are currently being served on the house and both vehicles.
