Tucson police were working a two-vehicle fatal crash that killed two people at a midtown intersection Wednesday.

The crash was between a vehicle and a motorcycle at East Golf Links and South Wilmot roads, said Sgt. Kimberly Bay, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman, in a tweet.

Two adults riding the motorcycle have died, Bay said shortly before 9:30 p.m. The crash occurred about four hours earlier.

The intersection remains shut down.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
