One person was killed in a tractor-trailer crash early Tuesday morning near Willcox, officials say.
About 1:30 a.m. a tractor trailer in the westbound lanes was rear-ended by a big rig.
The impact ejected the semi's co-driver, who had been in the trailer's sleeper unrestrained, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
She was subsequently run over.
Caren Killingsworth, 55, of Sardis, Tennessee, died in the wreck, the state DPS said.
The crash closed a portion of the interstate for hours.
