Two men were found dead Monday of gunshot wounds on the Tucson area's far northwest side in a suspected murder-suicide, the Pima County Sheriff's Department says.
Deputies found the bodies of Daniel Kellogg, 18, and John Kellogg, 39, when they responded about 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, to a report of a suspicious death in the 5000 block of North Blacktail Road, the Sheriff's Department said in a news release. The area is near West Manville and North Trico roads in the Avra Valley.
Detectives found a revolver near the men and learned in their investigation that the two had not been seen since Jan. 26.
"At this time, it is believed to be a murder/suicide. This is an active investigation, and no further information will be released at this time," the news release said.
