Matthew Curtis has been convicted of child molestation.

A Tucson man, who did not show up for his trial, was convicted in the molestation of a child on Thursday, officials say.

Matthew Curtis was convicted of molestation of his 7-year-old stepdaughter, the Pima County Attorney’s Office said in a Facebook posting.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Curtis.

Anyone with information about Curtis' whereabouts is asked to call 88-CRIME, the anonymous tipster line.
