A 25-year-old man riding an ATV west of Tucson Tuesday night was killed in a crash, authorities say.
The crash happened about 9:40 p..m. when Deven Plemons and a passenger were thrown from an ATV after hitting a chain stretched across a private driveway near the 9000 block of West Calle Cibeque, west of Tucson near South San Joaquin Road, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Plemons died at a Tucson hospital, the release said. No information about injuries to the unidentified passenger were provided.
Neither speed nor impairment were factors in the crash, the release said.
