Volunteer recognized for her dedication to shelter animals

Why: For her dedicated service to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Asia began volunteering at the shelter when she was 16 and has been a consistent volunteer. She marked her 20th anniversary of volunteering for the Humane Society in June. “Her kindness to the animals and our community is wonderful,” Janssen wrote in her nomination letter. Asia spends most of her time working with dogs, bathing and walking them and getting them ready for adoption. “Shoshana contributes a great deal to the success of Humane Society of Southern Arizona shelter,” Janssen wrote.
