A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a Saturday crash in the area of Orange Grove and Oracle Road.

A man in his 50s was taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries Saturday, after a motorcycle crash on Tucson's northwest side.

The crash took place before 4 p.m., in the area of West Orange Grove and North Oracle Road, said Brian Keeley, a Northwest Fire District spokesman.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was also transported to the hospital, but with non-life threatening injuries, Keeley said.

Arizona Department of Safety troopers are investigating the collision.
