A 92-year-old man died Wednesday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in a Circle K parking lot.
Jose Lopez fell in front of a truck around 9 a.m. outside the convenience store at 2840 W. Los Reales Road, the Pima County Sheriffโs Department said in a news release.
The driver of the truck was unaware Lopez had fallen in front of the truck and started driving. The driver did not show signs of impairment and is not facing criminal charges, the Sheriffโs Department said.
Lopez was pronounced dead at Banner-University Medical Center.
