Despite rainfall interfering with Independence Day fireworks shows in the past, it doesn't look like that will be the case this year.
Expect to celebrate the holiday with warm temperatures and dry conditions. Rain doesn't appear to be a problem.
Since 1895, rain has showered the 4th of July 44 times, the National Weather Service says. Who remembers the Fourth of July in 2012 when it rained more than half an inch?
The high for the day is slated to hit 104 degrees with a low of 75, which are average temperatures for the holiday. And as bad as 104 might sound, Independence Day in 1989 was a whopping 114 degrees.
And in 1935, the low was only 59 degrees. Imagine your holiday barbecue in that kind of weather.
Although rain probably won't crash your holiday festivities, chances for thunderstorms are expected to increase the following day, Thursday.
