An Arizona state trooper was involved in a shooting early Tuesday at Interstate 10 and Speedway, authorities say.
The shooting occurred about 12:30 a.m., the state Department of Public Safety said in a news release. Photos on social media show a car crashed under the bridge.
No details had been provided by state DPS late Tuesday morning.
Speedway was closed for hours.
Both lanes of Speedway were closed near Interstate 10 Tuesday following a shooting that involved an Arizona state trooper overnight.Â
