At least one person was killed Tuesday in a car chase that ended in a trooper-involved shooting that ended on West Speedway at Interstate 10, authorities said.Â
The unidentified driver struck and killed a bicyclist and also struck a pedestrian before being shot and wounded by the trooper about 12:30 a.m., the state Department of Public Safety says.Â
Speedway was closed for hours.Â
No further information had been provided by the state DPS by Wednesday morning.
Both lanes of Speedway were closed near Interstate 10 Tuesday following a shooting that involved an Arizona state trooper.Â
