A 25-year-old woman was killed in a rear-end crash early Saturday on Tucson's south side, authorities say.
Fran Molina was driving a Buick Lucerne north on South Palo Verde Road about 4:30 p.m. when she struck the back of a flatbed tow truck near East Drexel Road, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
Molina was killed in the crash. Three passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the release said.
The tow truck driver was not injured.
Speed and impairment are suspected as contributing factors in the wreck, the release said.
