A downtown Tucson bakery known for its baguettes, sweet buns, Japanese cream puffs and Korean shaved ice is opening a second location.
HeeMee Coffee & Pastries leased 2,828 square feet of retail space from the Marshal Foundation at Main Gate Square near the University of Arizona campus. Greg Furrier and Natalie Furrier, with Picor, represented the landlord.
HeeMeeβs first bakery opened at 20 E. Congress St. in 2019. The new location will be located at 800 E. University Ave.
The shop is known here for its bingsoo, a Korean raspado with toppings such as red bean paste, green tea and cereal.
HeeMee offers grab-and-go baguettes, and its new location will have an extended lunch menu.

- Keller Interiors LLC, which does floor installations, leased 3,990 square feet of industrial space at 4001 S. Contractors Way from Paul E. and Jan S. Monson. Paul Hooker and Tara Kernen, with Picor, represented the landlord. Jackson Kraft, with CBRE, represented the tenant.
- Serenity Urgent Care LLC leased 3,431 square feet of retail space at Sunrise Village Shopping Center, 4748 E. Sunrise Drive, from Sunrise Village Investors LLC. Dave Hammack, with Picor, represented the landlord and Christian Gile, with Gile Commercial Real Estate, represented the tenant.
- Maple Leaf Hair Salon leased an additional 1,950 square feet at Crossroads Festival, 4811 E. Grant Road. The landlord, Larsen Baker, was represented by its broker, Isaac Figueroa.
- Fletcher Home Improvement LLC, dba Fletcher Roofing, leased 1,200 square feet at Plaza Sonora Shopping Center, 2840 W. Ina Road. Ryan Wayne Shirley, with NAI Horizon, handled this transaction.
- Kumon Math & Reading Center of Tucson leased 1,050 square feet at Silverado Plaza, 105 S. Houghton Road, from Tucson Silverado LP. Natalie Furrier and Greg Furrier, with Picor, represented the landlord. James McDonald, with Cresa LLC, represented the tenant.
