A 49-year-old man was arrested Thursday night after Tucson police say he crashed into a bus stop on the city's north side, injuring three people.
Chad Bynum was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, aggravated assault and felony criminal damage after crashing into a bus bench just before 9 p.m. near East Fort Lowell and North Country Club roads, Tucson police said.
Three people were injured in the crash. Two were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The collision closed traffic in all directions until about 3 a.m. Friday, police said.
