A 41-year-old man was arrested in the killing of a man whose body was found in a drainage tunnel on the city's southeast side, Tucson police say.
Joseph Edward Karber was arrested Monday evening at an apartment complex near East 29th Street and South Swan Road on suspicion for first-degree murder, Tucson police said Wednesday in a news release.
Karber is accused in the shooting death of Joseph Donald Rose, 48. His body was found about 1 p.m. in a tunnel under South Swan Road and north of Golf Links Road, the release said.
Investigators say Karber confronted Rose over a previous incident prior to the shooting, the release said.
Karber was booked into the Pima County jail and was being held without bond, police said.
