Authorities say they have recently handled three suspicious devices found in Sahuarita.

The most recent incident of an "improvised explosive device" was Friday evening, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release. It said it was found in Sahuarita "in the same vicinity as the previous two devices."

A spokesman for the department said Saturday he could not immediately confirm whether the trio of devices could be detonated or were fakes.

On Friday, the Sahuarita Police Department said a passerby reported a suspicious device about 5:15 a.m. in a park, Parque del Sol. The Pima Regional Bomb Squad was dispatched to handle the device, Sahuarita police said in a news release.

Anyone finding a suspicious device should keep their distance and call 911, authorities say.
