A 23-year-old woman was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in a domestic violence-related incident on the city's south side, Tucson police say.
Nazhoni Nuñez was shot about 1:30 p.m. after police say she forced her way into an apartment in the 800 block of West Ajo Way and started an altercation with a man who lived there, Tucson police said in a news release.
Nuñez was in a domestic relationship with the unidentified resident, police said.
Nuñez was shot during the altercation, the release said. She died at the scene.
The investigation continues. No charges have been filed.
