Three people β€” including two 17-year-olds β€” have been arrested on suspicion of murder in the January killing of a 23-year-old man, Tucson police say.

Devon Thompson was shot about 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 8100 block of East Poinciana Drive, near Lincoln Park, on Tucson’s southeast side, police said. He died at the hospital, police said in a news release.

Thompson was driving a black Dodge Challenger on Poinciana Drive when he was approached by a group of strangers, police have said. Shots were fired, and Thompson drove his vehicle to a parking lot where it came to rest against a building.

As the investigation continued, and more search warrants were issued and carried out, three alleged suspects came into view, police said.
