Tucson's International Wildlife Museum is holding it's Fourth Annual Outdoors Day event today, with discounted admission and special exhibits.

The $4 fee includes museum admission and access to a wide variety of activities and booths for families.

Special exhibits include:

  • Shoot the bullseye at the museum's archery range
  • Check out constellations in the Indoor Planetarium
  • Look at the sun safely with solar viewing by Tucson Amateur Astronomy
  • Go for a horseback ride
  • Dissect a shark with Marine Awareness and Conservation Society
  • Look at model airplanes with Southern Arizona Modelers
  • Check out the button animal menagerie with local Tucson artists
  • Play giant Jenga with Arizona Zipline
  • Check out booths from Girl Scouts, Arizona State Forestry, Leave No Trace and the Arizona Chapter of Safari Club International

Food trucks will be on site, including Taco Queta and MJ's Hotdogs.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with allΒ proceeds benefitting the International Wildlife Museum's conservation education youth programs.

The museum is located at 4800 Gates Pass Road, and all museum members are allowed free access to the event.
