A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Cochise County Wednesday afternoon while traveling from Tombstone towards Sierra Vista, authorities said.
The Sierra Vista man, whose name was not released, may have suffered a medical issue, causing the crash, said Carol Capas, a Cochise County Sheriff's spokeswoman.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at mile post 9 on Charleston Road.
When Sierra Vista police officers arrived on scene, they found the man unresponsive and began CPR, said Capas. He was traveling on a Yamaha cruiser.
Medical personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. An autopsy will be performed by the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office.
