Tucson Marketplace at The Bridges on the south side is home to major retailers, restaurants, entertainment venues and more.

A national restaurant chain, known for its comfort noodles, will open its first Tucson shop this year.

I Heart Mac & Cheese has leased 1,416 square feet at 1495 E. Tucson Marketplace within The Bridges, near Park Avenue and Interstate 10.

The Florida-based chain specializes in macaroni and cheese bowls with toppings such as chicken parmesan or short ribs. Grilled cheese sandwiches and flat breads are also on the menu.

It was noted as a β€œTop 100 Best Growing Franchise” by Entrepreneur magazine in 2021.

There are more than 40 locations across the country.

I Heart Mac & Cheese is scheduled to open in Tucson later this year.

Brenna Lacey and Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., represented the landlord, Eastbourne Investments Ltd. and JL LLC at Tucson Marketplace at the Bridges. Joey Castillo, with Volk Co., represented the tenant.

2302 East Fort Lowell Owner LLC bought the 38-unit Wasko Modern Apartments at 2302 E. Fort Lowell Road from Wasko Modern LLC for $6 million. Allan Mendelsberg and Joey Martinez, with Picor, represented both parties.

Fairway Colima DE Nina LLC bought the former Boston Market at 6610 E. Grant Road for $2.3 million to open an Ono Hawaiian BBQ restaurant. Rick Volk and Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., handled the sale.

Mister Car Wash bought the property at 5523 E. Grant Road from Nam Nguyen Inc. for $1.1 million. Aaron LaPrise, with Picor, represented both parties.

Erekul LLC bought the Chevron property at 550 N. Alvernon Way from 2130 N Kolb LLC for $630,000. Jeramy Price, with Volk Co., handled the sale.

Fiji Water Co. LLC leased 10,644 square feet of office space at Williams Centre, 5210 E. Williams Circle, from WCCP Rosemont LLC, RPI Williams Circle LLC, and PEA Williams Circle LLC. Thomas J. Nieman, with Picor, represented the tenant and Philip Skillings, with NAI Horizon, represented the landlord.

Tio Ben’s Mexican Grill leased the former High 5 Grille at 3682 W. Orange Grove Road. Jeramy Price and Ana Aguilar, with Volk Co., represented the tenant. The landlord, Marana Mercado Associates LLC, was represented by Elaina Elliott and Isaac Figueroa of Larsen Baker.
