It's going to be a bit of a crazy day in Southern Arizona weather. A Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory will both be in effect from noon until 7 p.m. today, with gusts of up to 45 mph expected across portions of the region. As always, blowing dust is possible. The low humidity combined with strong winds makes for peak fire conditions, and any blazes that develop will likely spread quickly.

A slight chance of rain and thunder will develop this evening and overnight for areas to the north and northeast of Tucson, particularly in the mountains. It's even possible that the highest peaks could see some snow showers by tomorrow morning.
