The Santa Cruz River path on the Chuck Huckelberry Loop near the East Speedway underpass was closed Thursday following monsoon storms that flooded parts of Tucson.

Bikers and anyone planning to use The Loop are advised to use the west bank instead of the east bank, according to Pima County's official website.

Before using The Loop, visitors can check online for closures as underpasses on the Loop are often closed following heavy rains.
