Horse rescued after being stranded on a rooftop by Brazil floods

A team in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul state on Thursday morning rescued a horse that had been stranded on a rooftop by the massive floods, providing a dose of hope to a beleaguered region. The horse, dubbed Caramelo by social media users because of its tawny fur, was first spotted by a television news helicopter the day before. (AP Video by Wesley Santos and Lucas Dumphreys).
