Re: the May 30 article "Tucson ER info is stolen from car."
As a former health information management consultant, I read this article several times, to find the reason the doctor was keeping a logbook in the first place. If it was for billing purposes, the article should have said so. With so much effort expended these days to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of patient medical information, I find it mind-boggling that a physician of all people would be so careless with confidential patient information.
