Turkey's Erdogan says stricter construction rules needed amid devastating quake

Turkey's President meanwhile has promised to rebuild the areas destroyed by the quake. Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the construction of 30 thousand homes starting next month. The president says the buildings would be "safe" and of "high quality" conceding the need for "stricter" enforcement of modern construction codes. Experts say buildings in the earthquake zone were not up to standards, with some contractors already under arrest. FRANCE 24's Carys Garland explains.
