2025: The year in review
An unprecedented second state visit for Donald Trump, a challenging year in power for the Labour Party and a series of more positive health announcements from the royal family have characterised 2025. There were major stories beyond the UK too, with talks to end the war in Ukraine, an air crash in India that killed 241 people and pop sensation Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce announcing their engagement.
