Counting two-way players Kadeem Allen (Boston) and Kobi Simmons (Memphis), Arizona has 13 former players on season-opening rosters in the NBA.
That counts four remaining Lute Olson-era players -- Andre Iguodala (Warriors), Jason Terry (Bucks), Richard Jefferson (Nuggets) and Channing Frye (Cavs) -- plus an "interim-era" player in Jerryd Bayless (76ers), who signed to play for Olson but ultimately spent his one year at Arizona playing for Kevin O'Neill in 2007-08.
Simmons (who modeled the Memphis Hustle G League uniforms) and Allen earned two-way deals that mean they can play either in the NBA or G League and make up to $276,000 depending on how much time they are in the NBA. Combined with Lauri Markkanen, a lottery pick of the Chicago Bulls, that's three players joining the league from last season's Wildcats.
Other Sean Miller-era players in the league: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (Nets), T.J. McConnell (76ers), Stanley Johnson (Pistons), Aaron Gordon (Magic) and Solomon Hill (Pelicans).
Derrick Williams, the No. 2 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, remains a free agent and is not listed on a roster. The Cavaliers reportedly expressed some interest in bringing him back.
Jefferson landed with the Nuggets after agreeing to a last-minute one-year deal worth $2.3 million.
Arizona trails UCLA (15) as the Pac-12 team with the most representatives in the NBA. The Pac-12 says the conference placed 70 former players into the NBA opening rosters, counting six two-way players.
The Pac-12's breakdown is here.
Four-star guard Wisconsin guard Tyler Herro decommitted from the Badgers, and 24/7's Evan Flood says Arizona is expected to be among the programs recruiting him now.
Even UA commit Brandon Williams may be trying to get in his ear via Twitter...
