After his stock rose during Peach Jam play last July, Molinar's recruitment drew high-major attention. HeΒ received a scholarship offer from Arizona a month ago, but it appeared unlikely the Wildcats were seriously pursuing him after Josh Green committed earlier this month.
Arizona is also a finalist for Scottsdale Bella Vista guard Terry Armstrong, and 247's Crystal Ball points towards the Wildcats. Armstrong visited New Mexico last weekend, with fans greeting him at the Albuquerque airport, and he's expected to make a decision soon.
The Wildcats already has two guard commitments for the class of 2019 in Green and Mannion plus one from center Christian Koloko. Arizona has four openings available in 2018-19 in addition to whatever scholarships might become available from early spring departures.
