Arizona wide receiver Jacob Cowing will play in at least two postseason games this season.
Besides the soon-to-be determined bowl game the Wildcats will play in for the first time since 2017, Cowing will also play in the historic Reese's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Feb. 3. The bowl announced Cowing accepting the invitation on Sunday.
The all-star showcase features the top college football seniors who are striving to improve NFL Draft stock.
After tallying the third-most receptions (85) in UA history, which also led the Pac-12, Cowing returned to Arizona for his final year of eligibility and is second in catches (72) in the conference behind Washington State's Lincoln Victor.
In nearly two seasons at Arizona, Cowing has logged 159 catches for 1,573 yards and 17 touchdowns. Between his time at the UA and UTEP, the Maricopa native has recorded 300 receptions for 4,168 yards and 30 touchdowns. Cowing has also served as the Wildcats' primary punt returner with 10 returns for 53 yards.
No. 17 Arizona (8-3) ends its regular season on Saturday against Arizona State (3-8) in Tempe at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN. If the Wildcats win and No. 11 Oregon State beats No. 6 Oregon, Arizona will punch its ticket to the Pac-12 championship game in Las Vegas on Dec. 1.
