University of Arizona vs Washington, Pac 12 football

Arizona linebacker Daniel Heimuli (15) celebrates after making a tackle for a loss against Washington in the first quarter of their Pac 12 game at Arizona Stadium.

Arizona will enter its final week of the regular season as a Top 15 team, after the Wildcats moved up two spots to No. 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings that were unveiled Tuesday night on ESPN.

The Wildcats are No. 16 in both the Associated Press Top 25 poll and USA Today coaches poll.

Arizona, after winning five straight games, is the third-highest ranked Pac-12 team in the CFP rankings behind No. 4 Washington and No. 6 Oregon.

No. 15 Arizona (8-3) ends the regular season on Saturday against in-state rival Arizona State (3-8) for the Territorial Cup. If the Wildcats win and 16th-ranked Oregon State beats Oregon, Arizona will punch its ticket to the Pac-12 championship in Las Vegas next Friday.
