The Tucson Roadrunners celebrated “Star Wars Night” on Saturday, dressing up in movie-themed jerseys and hosting the Stockton Heat at Tucson Arena.

Lose, they did.

Adam Clendening’s first goal of the season wasn’t enough to lift Tucson, who fell 2-1 to the visiting Heat. Stockton improved to 13-9-2-1 this season, while the Roadrunners fell to 16-8-1-2. Adin Hill allowed two goals on 20 shots. The game was played in front of 5,316 fans, the most to attend a Roadrunners home game this season. The loss was Tucson's second in as many nights.

Tucson will travel to Southern California, where it will take on the San Diego Gulls Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
