FEBRUARY

BFF Fun Run at Barrio Brewing

This one's supposed to be fun. 

Bring your partner in crime — whomever that may be — for a costume contest, a 3-mile run and beer and dinner specials. Register with Amanda (amanda@fleetfeettucson.com) before it they run out of spots.

Fine Valentine Relay - 4M and 2M

Come alone or come with a partner. This run has a little something for everyone (even the singles). 

Choose between the 2-mile relay for two runners, the individual 4-mile run, the 2-mile fitness walk or jog, or free children's dash. This event is more than just about fitness, there's a costume contest and PDA contest. You'll also get breakfast while awards are being distributed — because everyone's a winner. Do all this while also benefitting the Ben's Bells Project.

Where: Pick up your race-day packet outside of Gentle Ben's, 865 E. University Blvd. from 7-8 a.m.

Cost: 

• Relay race: $38 per team.

• Individual runners in the 4-mile race or the 2-mile walk: $19.

• Register before Saturday, Jan. 28 to get these prices.

Happy Hour Hobble

Run, drink and socialize. This free run isn't a competition but a chance to run with a bunch of your Tucson friends. Run 3 or 4 miles through Rillito River Park and then head back for raffles, food and beer.

Where: Tucson Hop Shop, 3230 N. Dodge Blvd.

MARCH

Tucson Women's Half Marathon, 10K and 5K

It's a run just for women. Choose the half marathon, 10k or 5k and stay for the award ceremony, giveaways, swag and brunch.

When: Sunday, March 12, registration starts at 6:30 a.m. and runs start between 7:30-8 a.m.

Where: Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, 7548 N. Silverbell Rd.

Cost: $80 for the half marathon and $50 for the 10K and 5K.

Marana 5000 & FitKidz Family Mile

Get the whole family involved in fitness with free Eegees, activities, massages and giveaways.

When: Sunday, March 19, 5K run and walk starts at 8:30 a.m. and the one-mile family fitness fun starts at 9:15 a.m.

Where: Crossroads at Silverbell District Park, 7548 N. Silverbell Rd.

Cost: Register before Thursday, Jan. 30 and SAR members pay $23, non-SAR members pay $26 for the 5K, kids 13+ pay $17 for the one-mile run, and the kids 12 and under are free. Find more pricing information and registration instructions here.

APRIL

37th Annual Sabino Canyon Sunset Run

Watch the sun set while you run seven miles through Sabino Canyon. Sounds relaxing, right?

You can choose to walk or run. Walkers and joggers get an early start at 5:15 p.m. and runners start at 5:45 p.m. Bring a flashlight.

Registration starts on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and it fills up fast, do it ASAP. Pick up your packet between 4 and 5:15 p.m. at Sabino Canyon on the day of the run.
