Kiddos needing dental work have a chance to get free care Sunday, May 21.Β
The national dental provider Kool Smiles will host Sharing Smiles Day at their 2990 S. Sixth Ave. location for uninsured or under-insured kids up to age 18, says Dr.Β Christine Nguyen, the area dental director for Kool Smiles.Β
Kids can receive dental exams and other basic care. Emergency care options will be limited.Β
Because the two Kool Smile dentists volunteering will only be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Nguyen suggests getting there as soon as possible.Β
"A total of 30 (patients) would be reasonable for both of us," she says.Β
