Illusion, Quarterhorse, Mare

Age: 12 years.

Qualities: This beautiful, dun-colored mare has one blue eye. She leads, loads and picks up her feet.

Needs: An experienced horse person, further training, lots of love.

Sarabi — Domestic longhair torbie

Age: 1½ years.

Qualities: This adorable, sweet girl loves people and is quite playful; she gets along with other kitties fine and loves snuggles and ear scratches.

Needs: Sarabi needs a family who will play with her and lavish her with snuggles, treats and love. She does need a little help keeping her lovely locks tidy, so she’ll need to be brushed.

Jag — Labrador Retriever

Age: 2 years.

Qualities: Jag is a very sweet dog, although she is a bit shy at first because she wasn’t treated very well at her first home, so it takes her a few minutes to warm up to new people. Later, she got lost in woods for 14 days. She was very scared and hungry but happy to be rescued. She is currently with a foster family who brought her back to being a well-adjusted, happy dog. Now the only thing she needs is a real home. Could you be the family she is looking for? Jag is spayed, crate-trained, house-trained, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccines.

Tucker – tan with white hound mix

Age: 18 months.

Qualities: Tucker is a handsome fellow who knows “sit” and is eager to learn more. He plays well with other dogs but is especially people friendly. He would love to be your new best friend for Christmas.

Marcella —shorthaired orange tabby

Age: 7 years.

Qualities: After their mom died, Marcella and her dear friend, Casper, came back to look for new people to charm. Now everyone is calling them “Romeo and Juliet” because they’re often seen cuddling in a cubbyhole together.

Fee: $25 for one or both — holiday special.

SAMANTHA — DMH

Age:15 months.

Qualities: Samantha is a gentle and loving girl who loves to give and receive affection. This beauty was abandoned with a litter of kittens. Samantha was a great mom and now it’s her turn to play with feather toys and nap the afternoons away.

LILY — American Staffordshire Terrier

Age: 2 years, 7 months.

Qualities: Lily is a beautiful and happy girl who always has a smile on her face and a tennis ball in her mouth. She’s active, playful and a quick learner. Lily loves people, and if you have other dogs, she’d love to meet them.

Fee: Lily is free to a qualified applicant. Sponsored adoption includes alter, microchip, license and vaccinations.

Moxie—Greyhound

Age: 1 year.

Qualities: Moxie is a young, handsome greyhound who is trying to live up to his name. Moxie is a little shy, but he is getting more courage every day as he learns what real life is like living in a home and being a pet. Moxie is determined to find his forever home. He had a visit with Santa, and that was his only wish for Christmas!

Needs: Moxie would love to have another active dog to play and have fun with.

Sugar Bear — beagle mix

Age: 2 years.

Qualities: Sugar is a happy, healthy girl who is good with other dogs and adults. She is fairly calm, good on a leash and enjoys being with people. Like most beagles, she will follow her nose so she must have a fenced back yard and be kept on a leash when away from home.

JR — tuxedo

Age: 8 years.

Qualities: JR is shy, having not been exposed to other people and having spent most of his life in one room. JR loves to be petted and needs a quiet home and a patient person to help him adjust to his new life.

Needs: an indoor-only home without children or other pets.

Adoption fee:$25, which includes spay/neuter and current shots.

Tuxedo — Domestic Shorthair Mix

Story: Tuxedo was surrendered to Pima Animal Care when his family moved and couldn’t take him. Tuxedo is very calm and quiet and loves to be petted. According to his previous owners, he also gets along well with dogs and other cats. Let’s find Tuxedo a loving home for the holidays!

Fees: Free, due to his length of stay at PACC. He will also go home with all of his vaccinations, a microchip and a free vet visit voucher.

Caramel — Labrador Retriever / Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix

Age: 2 years.

Story: Caramel is a very gentle dog, looking for a passionate owner that is empathetic to his heel injury. Caramel is wonderful on a leash, and while he may need to walk a bit slower due to his injury, he still has a spring in his step. Caramel is a great companion.

Fees: Waived (excluding a $17 licensing fee) since Caramel has been at Pima Animal Care since October. He will go home with all of his vaccinations, a microchip and a free vet visit voucher.
