A 36-year-old man was killed Thursday night after being ejected from a pickup truck in a single-vehicle rollover crash in the foothills, Tucson police say.
Jorge Altamirano was thrown from the pickup after it left the road about 11:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of South Country Club Road near East River Road, Tucson police said in a news release Friday. It was determined that Altamirano was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, the release said.
Altamirano was traveling south on Country Club Road when his 2008 Ford F-150 went into the dirt should and flipped, the release said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation continues.
