Tucson police were investigating a carjacking Jan. 12, 2017 on South Mission Road. Travel on southbound Mission is shut down between West Drexel and West Valencia roads, said Sgt. Pete Dugan.
Tucson police took a carjacking suspect into custody Thursday night on the city's south side.
Southbound Mission Road re-opened about 11 p.m. between West Drexel and West Valencia roads, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman, in a tweet.
Dugan said police have also located the stolen vehicle.
